Eh.... I'm a little bit worried about North Korea. Sometime in early April they're launching a "satellite". This "satellite" will be dropping "debris" into the ocean. The ocean that just happens to be in Japan's jurisdiction and just happens to be on the North West side of the main island.
I live on North East side of the main island. I'm a bit nervous.
See, North Korea has been trying to put Nuclear war-heads on missiles for quite some time now. As far as we know they haven't achieved this yet. But what they're doing right now is trying to get their long range missiles to work accurately. And of course the only way to do that is to test them.
The International community believes this satellite is in fact a ruse to cover up their long range missile tests. (That's what the "debris" is.) The US and Japanese Navy ships have already moved ships to the North West seas of Japan. The hope is if a missile SHOULD in fact be launched the Navy could counter it.
Not sure how they plan on that. There are ways to stop a missile once it's been launched, but they're not particularly accurate.
Mike made a very good point when he asked "What do they hope to gain?" Seriously, what DO they hope to gain by threatening their neighbors? Sure they might want to reclaim South Korea, but I'm not particularly sure a long range missile is required for that. And why target at Japan? What do they plan on doing, anexing it? And threatening China is just plain stupid. (Even the ever "arrogant" USA knows better than that.)
I don't know, they really should just keep to themselves. They're not really in the position to go around threatening people like this. At least as far as I can tell.

On the road again...
*twiddles fingers* So we're still waiting to get an official report stating Mike's got his Instructor position. It's making me a little nervous that we haven't gotten it yet.
Mike got a call this Monday from the... uh... people process new orders... I dunno what they're called. Anyway, he got a call from them saying he needs "retain ability". To which he said "I did that last Friday." Their response was "Oh." He hasn't heard from them since.
I'm hoping they called because his Instructor Duty kit was trying to get through the system. I hope they did not send it back saying "He's not re-enlisted yet."but instead are waiting for the system to update itself.
I really hope that's it.
I read on a blog that United is pet friendly. Apparently all their cargos are temperature controlled so you can travel with your pet any time of year through them. I'm thinking, once we get our orders, we'll be going straight to the airline schedulers and making sure we get only flights that allow pets in cargo.
I am not leaving my pets behind this time.

Starting Fresh
Not that I have any followers here but...
I deleted a ton of posts. They were ranting posts mostly, written when I was feeling my most angry and rottenest. I think it's better if people don't see that side of me.
Also, I just don't get angry like that anymore. I guess God's dealt with that part of me for the most part. And I'm glad. I hate being angry like that... it's exhausting.
So... now I don't know what I'll be using this blog for, since I'd turned it into my Uber Anger Ranting place. Guess it'll be just another blog again... ah.... well. :)
